This page explains what personal information Fondera handles when you visit this website or write to us, why we handle it, who helps us, and the rights you have.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• When you visit this website. Our server records each request it receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for and the description your browser gives of itself. These records are deleted after at most 15 days. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools, and its fonts and images come from our own server.
• When you write to us. Your name, your email address and whatever your message contains.
• Enquiries we have already received. Messages sent through the enquiry forms this site used to offer are kept in our own database.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To answer your message: our legitimate interest in replying to the people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
• When you ask us for a quote or to start work: the steps you ask us to take before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• To carry out work we have agreed with you: the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• To keep a record of our correspondence in case of a legal claim: our legitimate interest in establishing or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).
• To keep this website running and secure, using the server records: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Do you have to give us information?

No. Writing to us is your choice. To reply we need your email address and enough detail about your request; without them we cannot answer.

How long we keep it

• Server records: at most 15 days.
• Correspondence and enquiries: for as long as we are in contact with you, then five years, the limitation period for civil claims under French law.

Who helps us

We use a small number of providers, each for the purpose shown:

• Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, hosts this website, its server records and our database, in Germany.
• Google hosts our email (Google Workspace).
• Anthropic and OpenAI provide the AI assistants we use to help us read, sort and answer the messages we receive, so the content of your message passes through their services.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with anyone else.

Transfers outside Europe

Google, Anthropic and OpenAI may process information in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection. Anthropic and OpenAI set out in their own terms how such transfers are protected, including by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at privacy@fondera.ai.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Loi Informatique et Libertés, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
• give it to you in a portable format, where that right applies.

Write to privacy@fondera.ai. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your agreement first where the law requires it.

Changes to this page

We update this page when the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
